Getting AR Max Evo to work with Slimline v13

I have a v13 modded with DMS4Pro. I want to use cheats on certain games, and I'm new to using a back up copy of Action Replay Max Evo.

My question, is the ARmax disc suppose to stop spinning when it says to insert the game you want to play.

My backup ARmaxevo disc just keeps spinning when i open it, then it stops, but after the top is opened. I can play the games fine with the cheats, but I'm a little worried about if the ARmax disc suppose to stop spinning before you replace the disc with the game disc.

I did a search on this but I just see swap magic booting instructions, which doesn't help much in my question.

As long as it stops when the lid is open, it's probably doing what it should be doing, and, since it works, i don't see why it should be a problem...

I have AR Max and a DMS4 Pro myself
mine also doesn't stop until you open it.
but like above, i have been using it for a while
with no problems so i don't worry about it.
Pluse the new flash for the DMS4 pro is in the works now
it will have cheat support so you will no longer need to
use the disc.

I guess I'm just worried about the spinning disc since the slimline seem so fragile.

How long have you had your modded slimline?

Hey HenriPaul, you said that your ARmax "works as it should"...

does that meant it's suppose to stop spinning before you open the pstwo to swap the disc to the game you want to play?

I don't know if the Original ARmax disc is suppose to stop spinning, like how swap magic stops spinning before you play a backed up game.
