How to put my authored DVD back into the original DVD containing the menu?

I have ripped, re-encoded and re-authored a copy of vanilla sky. I used Scenarist to re-author and i can burn the DVD it creates and it works. But then i tryed to put the authored DVD back into the DVD with the original Menu's etc. Then i delete VOB's containing the extra's from the original DVD so the DVD is under 4.36 GB and then i get the VTS Sectors. When i play it in PowerDVD it plays fine. In PowerDVD it loads a language selection screen, then it plays a Paramount logo intro and after that it goes to the main menu. So because all that worked fine i tryed to burn. When i have burned and i try to play the DVD in my stand alone DVD-Player i load the language selection screen and after that it will try to load the Paramount logo intro but i can't so the dvd stops. After that i can press the menu button on my remote and it loads the menu fine and it works after that. I'm wondering if anyone knows what is causing this and/or how to get around it. Thnx in advance.
