There is a product called V-Stream Xpert USB2.0 DVD Maker that will transfer VHS material to your PC and then burn it to DVD. I haven't tried it but it looks like it does what you need. SVP sell it for £24.99 here http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/misc.html. If you buy it and it doesn't do what you want, you can send it back to SVP within 30 days and get a refund. This is one of the reasons why I buy most of my stuff from SVP, also their technical support is very good.

Hope this helps.

The Hauppauge PVR series ignore macrovision (the copy protection on most commercial VHS tapes), which makes it a good choice.
The PVR-150 also doubles as a TV tuner for your PC.

No, it's too slow (USB 1.1) to capture full D1 (720x480/576) mpeg-2 video.
Get this one: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_usb2.html
Make sure your computer has full USB 2.0 support!!!

Thanks for your input. But you see my PC has a TV crad<-(i think...)
And on the front there is 2 slots, A S-video slot and a Composite slot. Can these two be used to record TV or not? And if so what cables would i need? + just to tell you my VHS only has the 3 colour slotst, (red, white, yellow), And it has one scart plug at the back. What else would i need?

I would think those ports on the front are for video OUT, not capture.
Only you can tell. Read the manual.
