could i please get some assistance backing up fantastic four. i've used dvd gen, then used isobuster and cd/dvd gen but as soon as i hit record it give me a "Aspi manager loading failed" Is there a patch for this or a better way?

You are on the right track.

You will get two errors when you click the "record" button on CD/DVD Gen. That's correct. Then, after that, you have to click file/export image, and name it the name of the game. You will end up with multiple, numbered IML files. From there, you open IML2ISO, and have it load the first .iml file created of your game. It will then rebuild all of the .iml files into a new image file. When that is completed, you burn that image file back to DVD, and wa-la, you have a working copy of the game.

have you got working aspi layers installed?

if not,get them from here

http://cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm

its easier to use the patch available from ps2no.com
