Hi, i very frequently reply to posts such as logfiles, which require URLs being dotted throughout the posts. Most of the time, the url is messed up and ends up like this (ie the bit with the word 'korostus') -
It's annoying only because it's inconsistent, ie it doesn't matter if i pre-empt the link being messed up by putting single or double quotes in before i hit the save button, or add spaces in the quotes, or just leave the url as a straight url.
Basically i have to edit nearly every post i make, also, i often refer to old threads and see even more messed up urls, editing after the fact doesn't really make any difference.. the change sometimes sticks right away, but later i go back and it's messed up again..
Creaky,
It has to do with the auto link thingy that AD has. The script is trying to link the word Nero in the URL and screws it all up. Just click edit without actually doing anything, then save changes and it will fix itself.
oh gord! that'll teach me, i consciously didn't search for the word 'korostus' as well, daft cus it's such an obscure word the search would have worked well.
