Hello All,

I'm somewhat new to the dvd to vcd world but I've followed the guides and have had a very good success rate. I've probably done close to 75 so far. "Normally" everything works out fine...BUT sometimes I will get a dvd/movie that rips fine but has problems.I'm using SmartRipper or DVD Decrypter and then I use dvd2avi to convert the audio. I hit the F5 to preview and I can see that the "Frame type" (progressive, interlaced)will be fluctuating back and forth. Or it will start as one then switch to the other. When it switches it "creates" a delay in my audio stream. I sometimes can crop the very beginning to where I get a constant frame type and then it will be fine. But some movies seem to do it quite a bit throughout and there's no way to crop that far in. I'm I missing something, a selection somewhere I don't know about? I try re-ripping the dvd but I still get the problem. Could it a bad dvd issue? If so it has happened on very new or new dvds, so I'm at a loss. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?
Any and all help would be a great help!

You can correct the delay in BeSweet or AC3Machine.
