I have downloaded several tools to assist with burning movies to DVD and I have a movie that I downloaded in my system (XP) and I want to burn it to a blank DVD+RW. My programs include a CD Copy Drive E: Can this be done with the items listed in your most popular downloads? Help??

What programs do you have? also do you have a DVD burrner or just a CD burrner. More info please

It would help if you gave us what file extension the downloaded file is in.

I have a CD Burner. The files are DVDFabDecrypter,Nero Start Smart, DVD Shrink,BitComet, VLC Media Player, DVD43 and DVD Decrypter. I already had DivX,DVDX, VideoLan, Burn4Free, and Intervideo Disc Master 2.5. As you can see I really want to make DVD's from movie downloads

you will need a DVD burrner then to make DVDs you cant burn a DVD movie without a DVD burrner. You cant use your CD burrner.

The only way to use your CD burrner is to convert your files into VCD and then burn them but most movies will have 2 disc. You can use Nero vision express to do this, But you need to make sure each file is less then 700mg if your going to burn them to regular CD using VCD format.

If you say you only have CD burner I dont know how you'll burn to a DVD+RW. Perhaps look into VCD or upgrade to a new burner. http://www.newegg.com always had good deals. I just paid 50 US dollars for a new Benq 1640 DVD/ CD burner combo that plugged right in to existing cables and works great.

You cannot Burn with Blank DVD media in a CD burrner. You have to have a DVD burrner to burn on DVD media. The only other way is converting your DVD movies and files you got off the net into VCD so that you can burn them on CD-ROM disc and play in your home DVD player.

I went to the web page Eggnog ? you suggested. Can it be possible that DVD Burners are so cheap at $40.00? My computer has a space to put in a DVD Burner, but the size would be a big deal to do that. Can these DVD Burners sit on your desk? Is it really as simple and just plugging it into a USB port on the computer? I am really into computers and all I know is what I learn as I go and what I have learned on jobs just using programs. Any help I can get is appreciated. Thanks.

you have 2 types of DVD Burrners internal which goes inside your Computer or externel that you have outside your computer. External DVD burrners are uasly more expensive then internal DVD Burrners. If you dont have anothe bay to put another DVD Burrner inside your computer you can always take out the CD Burrner and replace it with the DVD burrner.

I now have a new DVD Burner, added new hardware and upgraded my memory to 1.25. Now I have to learn how to use the burner. It is a Nero. I kept my old drive with saved docs, and my new drive is the super fast one with the burner. I am learning a little at a time. Thanks for your help.
