Hi, I'm having problems playing newer games on my ps2. It's a model 4 ps2 so it's older, not the slim versions or nothing. The games I'm having problems with are the very new ones just coming out say within the past month or two, I put them in and they will go to a certain screen and just freeze up, but they play perfect on my friend's slim ps2 and we both use swap magic 3....2 i think lol, it's not the new 1, but the 1 before that. The games aren't ones you normally have to rebuild iso's to or use patches or anything like that so any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

You can download the image file of Swap Magic 3.6. So, if you want to save some money and have some patience, burn that image to a blank DVD. Then use your older version of Swap Magic to load the newer version, then your game should work.

You can find it with most any program you use to download Mp3's with.

You might just head to http://www.thegiantstore.com/, click on the Playstation link on the left, and look for the Swap Magic 3.6 software without the lid. If the only thing shown is the flip lid combo, when you purchase it, you opt to just purchase the software solo.
