Hey guys what's up. As the topic says I'm new here I need help okay. Here's what I need help with. I wanna mode my PS2 but I dont wanna use a modchip. I wanna mod it so I can save games drictly to my HD that I got for it. If someone can point me in the diriction on how to do this please point or show me step by step how.

without using a mod chip u can use swap magic disk with either slide card or flip top cover. assuming u havent voided the sticker u can by smd on various websites. i have smd v3.6 with slide card, 20gb hard drive. to get the hdd to work u need to download HD Advace or HD Loader off the internet or u can buy a real copy off of a web site. if u downloaded the program off the internet u need to burn it on a dvd-r. dvd-r work best for using programs on ps2 and burning backup games.

to download HD Loader the way i did is http://thepiratebay.org/
u may need to read on what torrents are but once u get it search for hd loader and download the one that says Free HD Loader DVD Version for PS2 its only like 7.5mb zipped. use winwar to unzip it. it will come out as an .mdf file and .mds. the mdf files is like 1.2gb and to burn to dvd u have to us Alcohol 120%.
