so here's my slim PS2 NTSC, and i use swap magic dvd 3.6 to load a PAL backup..

it loads, but the screen keep flashing !!

i tried both normal boot and special boot, but it doesnt solve the problem !!

Yeah im having the same problem but my ps2 slims PAL and game is NTSC but 2 other NTSC games work fine just the best out of the games doesnt go good!

with mine it worked fine on the tv but ive just got a tv tuner card on my computer and its all buggered up

have you tried changing the screen mode to PAL?
The default on Swap Magic is set to normal
if you have and it still flickers on your screen
than your TV may not support PAL screen mode
you can get a cable (i forget the name) that will allow
you to play it. Or get a patching program like
PALtoNTSC patcher and patch the ISO file and reburn it

and it also has NTSC mode for the PAL PS2's
and there are patching programs to convert from
NTSC to PAL also

uglytoad u could try booting PSTWO (no disc) go to system config then 2 component viedo out & switch from Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pb to RGB this is a common cause of flashing on video cards & older style TVs.

hey I got the same problem. Could it be because I'm using component cables?
