Can some1 help me I bought a dms4 e.z.i. mod chip and installed it after i installed it. when i started my ps2 up i didn't notice any change what so ever. I used dvd decryptor and it said that it burned the game (Grand theft auto sa) successfully but when I try to play the game all i get is the red screen. now i've been reading the thread that's where ive gotten all the info that i have now but im having no success. is there a way or something that i can check to see if i can narrow it down to maybe the mod chip without having to open my ps2 again. please help i tried dvd+and- disks

People are entitled to their own judgment and preferences, but for PS2 games burning, I prefer (1) DVD Decrypter and (2) Nero.

@tank21,

Just out of curiosity, how big is the (gta) game i.e. how many GB when you inserted into your dvd burner and click on the properties? I've successfully backed up quite some games before, but not this one in particular.

San Andreas will back up just fine
But it MUST be done with good media
I like TDK and love Philips
both 8X DVD-R
burned with DVD Decrypter at 4X
what brand and speed of media did you use?
