dvd shrink wont get through the analysing part. it freezes up..dvd decrypter gets through it but it has over 8 gigs...i dont have a dual layer burner..how can i shrink it to a 4 gig disk?

have you tryed cleaning the disc really good and then trying to run it through dvd shrink? you can also try using alittle progarm called anydvd and run that in the background while dvd shrink is running and that should help u be able to backup it up. you can get a 21 day trail of anydvd from this site heres the link http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/anyd...

You already have the program that will let you compress your movie to fit a 4.7 disk. Just open your file and Shrink it, then burn it with whatever program you normally would use. Here is a guide on Shrink and Decrypter
