i am currently trying to burn video_ts files and ive tried imgtool, clone dvd and dvdsanta but each burns half of the disc and then spits it out sayin there was an error. can anyone help me??

Welcome to aD!
What brand of discs are you using? This could be your culprit. You should also see who the manufacturer is. Here's a tool to dl for that:
http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
Also make sure your firmware is up to date on your burner.

im usin gd discs cos they work on other stuff like data burnin

i am tryin to back up video_ts files

my error just says media error i thought it wos summit to do with Nero wen i looked at the log on imgtool.

if you've got Nero, you could try a 'simulation burn' which goes thru the motions with a blank disc but doesn't write to the disc, and produces a log entry, then you could post LAST section of your Nero log, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar
