Unsynch'ed frames? Plz help!

Hey there, extremely new guy here ;o)

I just burned a short video clip to test the guide: ( http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm )

When I played it back in my standalone, the frames were out of synch (?) To describe it, it was as though every other frame was actually a frame that should be played a few seconds later. If that makes any sense lol The audio was was synched to the "main" set of frames.

Anyways, I've been eagerly browsing these and other forums for hours and hours today trying to learn all I can about DVD Video so I would be much obliged if someone could give me a hand :o)

If you need any other information to help me out let me know and I'll do my best!
