PowerDVD 5 Playback Issues (Force Weaving)

Whenever I set the deinterlaced mode to force weave in the advanced video settings in powerdvd 5 I get a serious problem on fast moving ojbects.

When I set it to either force bob or auto-select the picture quality really suffers but the original problem goes away. I am playing the dvd files straight off my harddrive.

Any suggestions?
