Decryption problems with new dvd

Alright, so i've got the Lords Of Dogtown dvd, but the feature film will not work at all. I've switched discs and still no go. I've tried shrink, and i get "invalid navigation" error. With decrypter, it freezes on the first vob file. I've downloaded anydvd and dvd43 to see if either of those help and so far nothin. With those it allows me to decrypt but in shrink the film comes up as a green screen, in clone dvd it will not show at all.

Are you in the US because this movie will not be released here until September 27. There has been some discussion by someone else who got a hold of an early release and has had difficulties.

But it is pretty hard to give any answers on a movie that is for the most part unreleased in many areas.

Yes.. I work at a video store so we get the rentals 2 weeks early. Its like theres a new encryption on it, like when a dvd skips it gets pixalated, thats how this is. In clone it says something like invalid start block.

Try using Decrypter in file mode, and instead of the select all in the settings use movie only+ifo. Unless you want all the extras. If it rips the open Shrink, and select the re-author button to open the files it will then give you a choice on the lower right to browse for your file open it from there and drag over title one and let Shrink redo the movie. Maybe this will work, do not know.

Yea i actually tried that. I tried everything i can think of, but it doesn't work. It won't even show the movie in shrink when i try to re-author. I tried to burn just the movie itself, and it wouldn't even burn, after encoding i got another error message. Its seems like i'm going to have to wait till its released, and enough people have the same problem so it can be fixed. =)

I agree at least the AnyDVD people know it is coming and hopefully can correct it, but I guess Decrypter will finally see its day with this one.

Try ripping it with DVDFab Decrypter... If you need to know where to get it check out the software link in my signature :-)

Hmmm thats odd I did this movie with DVDFab Decrypter?

Mine plays fine all the way threw.. I used DVDFab Decrypter to rip it to my HD and then I used CloneDVD2 to do only the main movie no problems what so ever :-)

@bbmayo,well got nowhere I even downloaded the clonedvd2 and still had problems.I use DVDFabDecrypter(Free Version) is that what you use?When I decrypted the dvd with Fab it only had the last 20mins of the movie but it had all the extras of the dvd,don't know how you were able to do it.
