Hello, I have plenty of files on my pc that are in either various formats: video clip, mpeg, avi etc. Can someone please direct me towards a guide that will help me or give the name of a program that will enable me to prepare files to be burned to a dvd. Thank You.

Nero Vision express will do that if you have Nero. Just start it and create a DVD-Video and then pull the files in. and it will make the DVD
