hey everyone, i've gotten pretty proficient in ripping DVDs, but i'm having with a few different ones. that same thing has happened on 2 different movies: Gladiator and Ran. with both, after it's "finished", i am missing about 30 mins of the movie from somewhere in the middle. the beginning and end are still there, but somewhere i am missing about half an hour, and the rest of the rip is perfect. is this maybe due to some copy protection??

i think i may have figured it out. DVDx doesn't like input VOBs of over 4gb, and all those movies are about 2 1/2 hrs, which makes them over 4gb. so, i guess all i can do is use DVD Decrypter and convert from there.
