How to play divx movies on my dvd player

Greetings..
Can some one tell me how can i burn my divx movies so they play on my dvd/divx player and how can i join the subtitles to the movie??

what dvd player do you have?
mine plays DivX, but also supports almost every format, i use 'data' dvd for all my movies now, except back ups, and the quality is great.
also, what burning software do you have currently?

For the tip but what i want is to play DivX videos because i only have a cd writer so i can't burn dvds and i use Nero burning rom.
if you can tell me how to do it i apreciate!!

try this guide.
since you olny have a cd burner, it should be identical, but i am not totally sure.

it would help to get a dvd burner, they are not that expensive now a days. just make sure you have the latest version of Nero.
