Magic Switch woes

Ok I recieved my magic switch today and am having installation troubles, i have a sony spch70001 and the tools that it came with are different then the ones shown on jspot and the swap magic instructions site, i figured out tools a and b but c which looks like the one on jspot but with a clip like thing, it says insert it into the slot that goes down on under the tray lid but it doesnt even go in partially. THis is driving me nuts any ideas?

well nvm i figured it out on my own i just removed the metal part in the way
