I just got it and its a great camera. But does anybody know if i can take a picture from already recorded video?

most likely no, my camera doesnt ,just try to take a pic while playing ,,but mostlickly the feature to take the picture will be off when watching

well if you have a usb cable to hook it up 2 your cpu there might be a way to take a picture while watching
