Hi Im a newbie in burning PSX Games so I have a question?
Im trying to burn a boot disc callled "Final Doom" for PS. I Burned it using Alcohol 120 and I burned it on speed 8X and 4X. I also changed the data type to Playstation and Customize and used RAW DAO. The CD Im used first was Memorex then Imation CD-R. Am i using the wrong CDS or burning the game wrong.

Heres how it looked when I pulled up Image:

i would definitly change media. i would recomend sony and burn at the slowest speed availible. as for the ps question u need to look further down in the forums under consoles, there should be threads there about ps games.

Kyosan it sounds like you are on the track. Change the write method to DAO/SAO and lower the speed to 4x, and you should be fine. Most boot discs are useless if they are burned. You need an original pressed copy of most boot discs for them to work. These "pressed" boot discs contain intentional bad sectors which most market burners cannot duplicate, thereby rendering any copy useless. The method I mentioned should work to burn your PSX backups, good luck.
