I need to cut a 2-4 minute reel together out of about 3 or 4 different dvds. This sounded easy enough until the very first one I tried to cut turned out to be comprised of all VOB viles with the audio and video separate. I downloaded a program called diva that someone told me would convert the files to digital, but I couldn't get it to do it. I honestly don't even know what I'm supposed to be converting the VOB files into. Idealy, I'd like to make the reel using idvd on an emac, as that's all I have free access to, so does anyone know what kind of file i need to convert the VOB file into so it can be read by idvd, and then how to convert it into that type of file for free? Thanks!!
