I recently copied NCAA Football 06. The game loads up but its realy slow. I checked the main folder along with all the folders to see if there were any dumy files, but the only thing I came across in the main folder was a file "F.dat", I was not sure if this was a dum file or not, so I burned two dvd's one with a dummy file with a new text file and one without. They both play and boot up, but both of them boot slow. I have copied some other games and they run quickly, just like normal. I am using SM3.6, has anyone else encountered this problem? I burned a 6x, which is the slowest I can burn at. Also, the play by play announcer is always a play behind, and te music constinently skips or just stops playing, but the game never freezes. Just runs a little slow from time to time. Thanks for any insite to correcting this problem.

I burnt it at 4X on a Sony DVD-R and mines works perfect. You might want to try to burn it on 2X or 4X. What brand are you using? Also I understand that problem you have. That happens to me on my ESPN 2K5 Fottball but this is with the original copy. I was thinking it was the laser. Not sure though.

Savage, Thanks for your help, but the slowest I am able to burn is at 6x, I cant do it any slower. I am using Imation DVD+R.

Use DVD-R and a good brand like TY, Sony, Fuji, Verbatim.

Ill try a -R, but Im not going to jump on the whole media crap. i ahve burned over a hundred dvds and a few games with Imation, all of them i repeat all of them work fine, the first one, NCAA 06, still works just loads a little slow at times. Thanks for your help. Ryan
