I have tried new media, checked all settings, but no luck playing on table top players, computer or laptop no problem....Question also do we have to change any parameters in the computer or laptop itself to allow Shrink to handle, I know shrink doesn't burn, I use Nero and on my home computer have no problem recording or playback, just my friends two(pc and laptop)units have the problem, Thanks for any heads up, but like I mentioned have ruled out media, I have used media from the same lot and no problem.

What is the problem?
Are they having trouble playing your backups or are you having problems playing their backups?
I've got 2 pcs,my dad's pc, and a buddy's pc all set up with dvd shrink/nero/and DVD Decrypter and didn,t have to change anything except the backup target size.
What is the model # and brand name of all those dvd drives?
Saugmon, the problem is multiplied by the fact that the pc and laptop worked that is anything recorded on the drives would play in a stand alone player, but not now, this is a friend of mine, and he has done many prior to this problem. I even took some media from him and performed with my pc at home and had no problem that is why I say no media concern, especially since both his pc and laptop are having the same problem at this time. And I have done over 300 copies on my pc so it's not like I don't have some slight idea how DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter work. Any help, prior to this the forum masters have stated a media problem, again no way!
Maybe their DVD-RW drives have the bitsetting capability of booktyping the plus format media to dvd-rom whereas yours does?
Are these No disc Inserted type of errors?
Are they pixellating issues?
Are they freezing issues?
Are they stopping at a certain point?
Do all 3 of these DVD-RW drives have identical model #'s?
Different burners prefer different media. What may work excellent in one DVD-RW drive, may not be worth a crap in another. I've got 5 DVD-RW drives and I know what they will burn and what stand alones will recognize their backups.
Saugmon, as mentioned before, these dvd-rws have copied an played in table top model players prior to a few weeks ago, no additional software, hardware has been attached etc....this sounds crazy, but again I have taken the same media from him burnt them on my computer and they play no problem, on his laptop which is in front of me right now, it analyzes fine encodes fine and states burn ok, plays on laptop but on table top show "disc unavailable" or "no disc"
