I know most people either are iffy on the subject or jave no clue what network bridging is but im gonna go out on a limb here and ask a question judging by the in depth replies ive seen on other posts... I am currently network bridging on halo 2 with zonealarm and commview... this is basicly used to give teamates host or if u urself has host to boot/lag the opposite team out... I know how to lag people out but i do not know how to give host... i know the basics of both programs so it shouldnt b that hard to explain to me but if anyone has some input plz reply and it would be much appreciated :)

i know about bridging just fine (i do it to computers all the time)
but i bridged my xbox and i am having some problems with zone alarm.
when i move my "internet" firewall to high it should not let me use xbox live? yet it does, using netstat (commview or other programs) it shows the local IP is that of my xbox and the outbound IP is xbox live, and i have no control over it using zone alarm.
anyone wanna help me out?
and to bridge networks you just need windows XP, 2 NIC cards(1 PC) and 1 NIC card in another PC and a cross overcable...
zone alarm is just what you would use to IP ban people over xbox live, and commview is a program that shows all incoming and outgoing packets to your computer.

plzh3lpm3,
edit:
removed contact info
unedit:
now i will help you for what you said, "...and see there ips". as far as forcing host i can't get it to work. i will tell you how to IP ban someone (very easy) and how easily check who is host. and can tell how you how to "team standby" although i see no point in that other than to cheat.
one thing, you have to promise to only boot people if you are 100% sure they are using auto aim or fast fire....
cheaters are lame, you play for fun, not for rank. if you want to be good go play at a MLG, VGL, or WCG.

Alright, for all you guys that want tutorials on how to bridge, i cant help you. Ive been bridging on Halo2 for about a month, Recently on Xbox Live, they have done some maintence and for some reason I keep lagging out of xbox live, EVEN WHEN NOT RUNNING ZONEALARM. I have the two bungie ip's required for giving host
207.46.246.6 and 65.59.232.6. I think its because of the newly added server(s) which I have yet to locate their ip in commview. Does anyone else have this problem, if not, Tell me the ip's you have for bungie. XBL tag: removed

OOOHHHHH, I just figured out how to keep from lagging out in xbox live with your bridge, every few days or so bungie adds servers to xbl and somehow like, 8 new REQUIRED ip's come up, some people use the Ip Range setting which i think is harder than my way, also thanks to some of my computer skills i learned how to BRIDGE MYSELF HOST, i did it 15 times in minor clan, booted 2 guys and usually the other one quit, its freakin sweet, My XBL gamertag is removed and i'd be more than glad to help anyone who wants to learn the basics or advance bridging techniques.

You know what you lazy shitbags...I had no idea how to bridge a week ago, now I am helping people figure it out....and I didn't post a question once...ANYWHERE. All you little high school kids need to get off your ass and do some work. You probably all read more than I do since your students...but christ I just googled and read topics and did my own research. I did the same thing back in 2002 when I got into xbox modding. Not a SINGLE question. It's very simple if you just take the time to figure it out instead of hoping someone else wants to waste there time trying to get your ignorant ass going.

Irshdrunk, your completely right, i learned how to bridge on a weekend night.. At first it took me a bit, but i believe of some of these folks took the time out to figure it out themselves, they wouldnt be wasting their time on a forum. Ive gotten quite a bit of Friend requests and IM's about bridging. YES i know everything about briding, I dont have the time to teach everyone in the world how to do it, and now just about everyone knows how to do it so theres no point unless you enjoy low ranks which you can get legitly.
