ps2 wont work, just installed a mod chip!!!!

I just put in a Duo2 SE i have a v7 ps2. pluged it up turned it on no boot screen(i dont know if its even to come on). power and eject works but eject wont re-load the cd tray. this was my first time putting in a mod chip so its probely dead but just wanted to check and see what yall thought.

So you are saying that you have a black screen, if so you need to check your bios chip and see if you have a bridge .

yes i have a black screen. i probley do because that where i had the most problems, but i checked before i went on and didnt see any thing, ill check again. until then any more ideas?

i know when i was sodering that i bridged them i fixed it. could some soder have went back behind it that i cant see? or is that unlikely

Remove the chip and see if you can get the ps2 working.

I cant say that because I did not install it, all im saying is that you need to start over and get the ps2 working without the chip first.
