Ok I got Formula 1 05 from UK. I live the U.S. I just want to know if I get the Slide Card Combo 3.6 will it work good and is it easy to used because I'm looking at all these forums and it seem like its hard. I really want to play this game so can some one help. thanks if you can

yes you can use Swap Magic to boot your imported version of F1 O5. Check here: http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_FAQ.asp For a tutorial on using Swap Magic with the slide card check here: http://www.saveware.com/SlideCardUsageAndInstall.htm Keep in mind that your import is in PAL format so you would need to match the video mode in Swap Magic to your PS2. Did you purchase your PS2 here? If so it will be in NTSC format. I don't know what kinds of problems this would pose (if any) on a PS2. I have booted several PSone backups in PAL format on my NTSC PS2 with no prob. I assume the same principal holds for Swap Magic and PS2 backups and imports. So the short answer is no using the slide card isn't hard, but in my opinion a flip top is a lot better (though it requires some minor installation). Hope this helps. I should add that I have an NTSC TV and have had no issue with PAL PSone games.

yes Swap Magic can load PAL game if your PS2 is NTSC but your TV has to be able recreate PAL signal witch is at 50Hz if i'm not mistaking

i just burned this game used sm 3.6 to load it in PAL video mode and it froze at the language selection screen then i loaded it again and it froze in the menu

so maybe i just need better media?
