Ok i dont know if its a virtual dub problem but heres wats wrong. I used virtual dub to permenantly add subtitles and also to fix the audio of the avi file.I play the file on the computer to see if everything went well with subtitles, but there is something wrong with the audio.the audio is "faster" than the video, like when someone talks, their words are already said then you see them talking. its kind of confusing but please help me

oh yea i forgot..it does this whent i fast forward it with the video player. I drag the bar to some place and the scene changes, but the audio doesnt change at all. THe audio keeps playing where it was left off, thus not fitting with the particular scene.

What is the audio Format in your AVI file???

Some audio formats tend to go out of Sync after you convert them to another format and the Only way to Fix this problem is to Decompress the audio in your AVI files before you convert them to DVD....

You can download a Small tool that will decompress the audio in your AVI files so they don"t go out of Sync after encodeing and it is Much more reliable than useing Virtual-Dub to decompress the audio....

Open the file with VirtualDub. If the AVI has MP3 VBR audio it will give you a warning (didn't you see it, before?).
Read the whole FAQ ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/196299 ) and EXPECIALLY http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/129217 [how to fix 1) is what you need].
