I know that others have had good luck with the Verbatim 2.4-4x DVD+R DL, but are the Verbatim 2.4-6x DVD+R DL any good?

i would think that the Verb DL would follow it's natural progression of maintaining it's high quality, i have used the Verbs DL exclusively for the few backups i have made on DL media...all are flawless on the Verbatims :)

you SHOULD be fine...raising the bar on speed for DL media is a good thing, i am SURE Verbatim is out in front with keeping their HIGH STANDARDS in tact for this one too~ :P

Of the dual layer media currently available, Verbatim is the best choice... 2.4X is possibly on clearance at some Staples locations...

10 pack 16x DVD+R LightScribe - $3.50
3 pack 2.4x Dual Layer - $5.50

I picked up 4 packs of the Dual Layer and 2 packs of the 16x DVD+R at my local Staples in Oviedo, FL. Store still has around 6 pack of Dual Layers and almost 20 packs of the 16x stuff left over.

I think this is an awesome deal on the Dual Layer disks with no rebates.

wow, that is great pricing, i wonder if it's nationwide as im on the west coast in California...well, gonna be picking up the Fuji 30 packs at staples on sunday, so might as well look around for these clearanced Verbs as well~

i sure hope it's nationwide, imma walk outta staples with like 400 discs if it is~ hehehehe
