I got a 1.6 box with a Xenium ICE chip, I'm using EVOX M8plus16 and Slayers 2.6 All games I have backed up fine except this one, Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, all files copy over 100% using DVD2XBOX, then when I launch game from HDD it gives me black screen with white lettering saying "This game must be played from original disc" forcing me to reboot my Box. Is there anyway for me to back up this game, if so, how.?

I got the same message. What I did was make a disc with the game files. Just FTP the game to your PC, create an iso with Qwix or Craxtion, and burn the iso...the game will play for you then if you play from the disk. I believe there is a patch needed to play it from the hdd but I've had no luck with that yet.

Yeah, ya know I haven't even tried to transfer files to PC, I figured if it didn't work from HDD it wouldn't on backup, but I'm gonna give it a try! One question, I have not used either Qwix or Craxtion, what about XboxRipper 1.0.5? will this work for backup iso creation? So they must be putting some kind of encryption protection on game? It must be expensive or new cause this is they only disc I've come across to do this.....Oh well, Thanks!

Using the disc to play the game has worked for me. As for XboxRipper 1.0.5, I've never used it, but it is a "Rip, Build ISO, and Burn" tool so it should do just fine.

Pretty simple fix, just download the HDD patch for the game. You can get it (and a full tutorial) from xbox-scene. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=437332

Patch works great! I burnt backup copy and then went ahead and downloaded patch from Xbox scene and worked good, now am able to play from HDD. Thanks guys!

Iwas also able to build new disc with patch in it, this way if I want to burn to another xbox later will be simple!
