Just to make sure were on the same wavelength...
You do mean scratches on a disc, don't you??

If so, whatever your nearest Computer Store has will/should do. There are variious brands/types that can do the job.

DON'T USE RUBBING ALCOHOL!!! at least i have brefore and it CAN runine the game. Like satated ^^^^^^^^^ buy a disk cleaner solution or buy a kit with the disk cleaner thing in it that u spin or what not. That has the potential to clean it but you can't rely on it to clean the disk. Before trying that try buffing the disk by wiping the disk from the center out with a soft cloth. Finally if all else fails I know some privatley owned video stores near me will allow me to have them clean my game with a professional machine for a small price. They can restore badly damaged disks entirly!

Really,
I've never heard that before...I'm curious now. Can't wait to scratch a disc to give it a try, lol.

toothpaste is one of the finest rubbing compounds you can buy, just try not to use one with all that fancy stuff added. It works great in buffing out the jewels when you clear them.

So by that, do you mean the basic baking soda toothpaste? Would that do the trick?

yeah that should work....I mainly ment all those toothpastes with the sparkles and stuff like that. The finer the toothpaste the better.
