Ive owned this player now for over a year without a problem, did a firmware upgrade 6 months ago...no problem. For some strange reason, last week the dvp642 will not play legitimate DVD's. Xvid, DivX and home video DVD's work fine on both dvd+/-r but damned if it wont play a fricken rental.
Any help would be much appreciated.
