i ve a ps2 modified but it doesnt play dvd +rw which work on my friend's ps2, iwant to know what is the difference between the 2 consoles.it also plays some games in the half of the screen.. can i find any help, is it a modchip problem or a lens problem or what?

my ps2 plays DVD-RW but i know a lot of them don't check the model number on the back with your friends mines is scph-39003 one of the few models that plays them
