I recently burnt The Eye and Dark Water and have great picture and sound but no English Subtitles. I have tried selecting them when watching the DVD's but still nothing happens.

In the past I have succesfully burnt several foreign films which have all had English subtitles.

Bemused to say the least.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

With what program did u burn with and also did u make sure that u checked the subtitles as for e.g. in CloneDVD 2???

Or are u sure the movie has subtitles at all...

Burnt with Nero which is usually excellent. Film has subtitles normally becuase I've watched it on my own DVD.

Any suggestions?

Try to change the program from Nero. To CloneDVD 2 It has a much easier interfave and i highly recommend it :)

Did you use a programs such as DVD Shrink to compress?

Did you select subtitles/language?

There are a few around that do not have subtitles - have not tried these movies.

Here is a guide to DVD Shrink. U will find the subtitles on the list when u import the movie into DVD Shrink.
