You will need swap magic to play your backup/import ps2 games. The only thing that Gameshark is good for is booting your backup/import ps1 games.

Yeah, basically, but it kind of sucks, because you're always swapping discs. That is why most people add a flip top case to their console. This is because you then do not need to yank out the drive tray w/ the slide care when you are going to swap discs. You just need to press a button and the flip top case on the top will pop open, and you can swap the disc in and out easily.

Beware Haze that it may not be possible to play through some multi disc games with Swap Magic. For the Breaker Pro (basically Swap Magic for PSone back ups and imports) you can't boot multidisc games that prompt you to change discs in mid game, only those that allow you to save at the end of the disc and boot off the next disc. Obviously it's not an issue if you don't intend to play through any multi disc games, but if you're an RPG fan like me, it kinda sux. Just thought you should know, and definitely get the flip top with Swap Magic, the slide card is LAME.

how do i play back up games with gameshark!!!!!!
gameshark is the weak way to load up a ps2 back up
i rather get a swap magic disc it always works a 100%
with no problems
for a swap magic disc by its self is $12.00
a gameshark is $50.00 what a waste of money and plus its not even powerful for the loading... you always have to play with it to run the game

wait pimp. the first link on ur post when opened said that the swap magic works with only v4, 5, 6 and 7 if i have another version does that mean i cant use it? and how can u find out wat version there is? also can some1 tell me the most realiable way to get the equipments?
