I've burt lots of cds of all differnt makes and speeds. I bought some Sony 40X and every time I burn one I get an error when theres 5 seconds left sayin it couldn't finish the CD. They all work and play, but should I worry about them going to crap later? Any fixes you can think of, other than don't buy Sony CD's any more?

I burn with XP (just drag and drop). Never had any problem before.

The CD's are 736,819,200 bytes / 79min 57 sec recorded in the ISO 9660 Mode-1 format. It says extended capacity media, but I thought that was normal capacity? They also say "Supermas" what ever that means?

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should

Sony CD's aren't really good, at least the ones that say Sony in the ATIP and are Made in Taiwan, those are made by a company called Lead Data, exclusively for Sony, and they are of the lowest quality.
