gamecube network card question

i have two network cards in my comp one of them is connected to the router where i get my broadband internet from what do i do so i can use my other network card to connect to my gamecube without messing up my other network card last time i tried it they both got errors

just change free NIC ip address to 192.168.1.100 and subnet default(255.255.255.0).

ok i started up pso and psul and when it starts to connect to the pc i get served dns query from 192.168.1.32 3 times from psul then pso disconnects. what do i do?

Are u sure that PSO is set correctly?

my pso network settings are
IP address 192.168.1.32
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.100
Primary DNS server 192.168.1.100
and my tcp/ip on my comp is
192.168.1.100
subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
thats the right things isn't but i still get that dns query

I mean do u have done that setting saving? psul -s thing. It should get error, after that it should work or there is something wrong in OS.
And if u have a frewall open ports for PSUL.

yeah thats what i've been trying to do was the psul -s thats when i get the querys if the network thing i'm using thats directly hooked up to the gamecube how would i unblock a port i thought you couldn only do that on a router would my other network card thats hooked up to the router with internet would that be interferring and if so what ports would i need to open

You need to that psul -s only once, then u dont need to do it ever again, then u can send a .dol file.
And about that port, i dont know what port it is:/
