I just purchased a WD 120 GB external HD and want to play backups from it using a USB. I have SM3.6, but my PS2 will not read it anymore. couple questions.
1. Is there a way to run a Swap Magic 3.6 exploit from HD or memory card to play backups from DVDR or HD?
2. What is the next best option for running an exploit from HD that WILL PLAY newer games like Madden 06, God of War, etc.?

First of all, you said your ps2 will not read the swap magic disc anymore. Does it still read original games? Also, you will need usbxtreme to use the external hd.

It reads the SM when it feels like it. All other orignal and backup movies and games go off without a hitch. Does USBextreme load all backups? is there a freeware version?

USB EXTREME is a program like Swapmagic that needs to be purchased.. and it is used to boot backups from a external HD

Is there a USB advance that's free? Does it boot all backups? Can I save the SM info to my HD so my laser doesn't have to read it anymore?
