i have a question about how many files from the dvd i have to copy in order to run the movie from my hard drive. as it is right now i am copying all the files from the dvd to play it. Any info on how to only get one file copied to play the whole thing would help

If you just want to watch the Main Movie then just rip the DVD in "Movie" Mode useing your Ripping software and then you should be able to watch in useing PowerDVD or WinDVD....

You might also try Ripping the DVD as one Big VOB file instead of as a bunch of small VOB files.....
