can anybody help me i have got the xenium chip i think one of the first ones and the xbox is v1.1 i updated the os to version 2.3.0 and everthing has been fine for days....
i have slayers install disk 2.6 which is great, but the only thing i wanted to do with it is to load which dash i wanted by picking either evox_m8_fc_06_256 bios from the launch window on the xenium boot screen
and then it would load the evo dash...no problems there its allways been like that..
but this is where my problems started i then added a new launch item with the bios 4981.06 fc ava or x2_4983.06 i cant really be sure which it was it then loaded the avalaunch dash to my surprise instead(which i prefer) so it saved me booting the evo dash then going to avalaunch dash, so i thought i had the thing i really wanted!!!!!!!!
HOW WRONG WAS I???
when i switched of the xbox and several hours later went back on it just kept flashing the led red and green and no sound or display(i now know its called FRAG)
i have searched the forums for answers and tried all the things they have said
1 switched mod chip to recovery
2 got another xbox and put the recovery.bin file on my unlocked hard drive then put it back in mine.
3 the recovery screen comes on,then says got from hdd,the led goes from red,orange blue then green then switches off..
5 flick back the switch and switch on...
AND IT STILL FRAGS.......!!!!!!!!!
i have also tried about 6 different recovery files from different os, 2.0.1 - 2.1.0 - 2.0.2 - and 2.3.0 and they all do the same thing.........
if i unplug the chip it boots the green x then it says x box needs servicing.
so i know the xbox is ok.
HAS ANYONE GOT ANY MORE IDEA'S WHAT TO TRY OR HAVE I BROKE IT FOR GOOD..
i would be gratefull for any help at all..and thanks for reading this long post
