I am trying to create a backup of the 80's flick Strange Brew. I used dvd decrypter to load on my hard drive. It seemed to work fine.

Now I am trying to use dvd decrypter to burn a new dvd. The guide tells me to look for a *.dvd file and not the *.ISO file. All I see is a STRANGE_BREW folder, within that is a VIDEO_TS folder which contains a pile of BUP, IFO, & VOB files. I'm not sure what to select.

I feel I must have made a mistake somewhere, but I don't know where.

Help.

You can only burn iso files with Decrypter. Next time you do your movie in Shrink and hit the backup button and the screen comes on make sure you have the Create Video_TS folder unchecked it will then create an iso file.

bobnomore,
Welcome to the forum.
Are you putting the movie on a DVD-5 or a DVD-9.. If you are putting it on a DVD-5 then you should use DVDShrink to compress the data and then you can use DVDDecrypter to burn the .iso Shrink compiles automatically. If you are using a D/L DVD-9 then all you have to do use DVDDecrypter > Mode>iso read and that will put the file on the HD and then use DVDDecrypter >Mode> iso write ( look for the file on the HD that you just created) and then hit the burn button and it will write the file to the D/L DVD
