I finally got my xbox today with the brand new excuter2 pro modchip in it. Right away I started burning with my Sony DRU-500A and was glad to see that my FujiFilm CD-R's worked fine in the box. Unfortunately though, the FujiFilm DVD+R's I bought do not work in the xbox for my backups. Can anybody recommend compatible brands of dvd media? I'm now stuck with this pack of 40 or 50 blank dvd's that don't work and want to be sure of what to get before I buy more. Please help!

Its a case of finding media that works for your xbox and sticking with it. Depending what dvd drive u have in your xbox (philips, thomson or samsung) some dvd media will work, some wont. Personally ive got a box with the philips drive and found that the 4X Gen4 discs with the Ritek dark purple dye the best for xbox. These discs seem to be compatible with just about everything.
