i am having trouble playig an avi file on my windows media player 7.1 i have windows98 and i have tried installing the divx 3.11 and when i open up the file to see if it works it still does not run the video it only runs the audio. Can someone please help me?

i would suggest getting a newer version of DivX. this should solve your problem.

get the nimo codec pack from here http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm and download the latest version of DivX from http://www.divx.com
