Well...I'm new to PS2 modding and I wanted to customize my PS2 but then a few days ago I was surfing the net and I went to this website and they had a whole bunch on chips and then I found out about the this chip "crystal chip", it told alot of stuff but the only thig that I found out is that it makes your PS2 multiregional and that's about it.

Also I would like to know which chip is the best.

for me the best one is DMS E.Z.I Pro Chip why because it a non solderless chip very easy to install (clip on) for u that ure a begginer you should go with the chip i just told u what chips make u do is plays back up games imported games all kinds of things why are nice if u do decide to get that chip then u have to flash it i would recommend toxic bios 1.3 unless you are sure u are never going ot install a drive to your ps2 flash it with toxic O.S 0.3 if u doint want to void the ps2 warranty go with the swap magic 3.6 very easy to use it depends on u and make sure the chip u buy or swap magic 3.6 is the version u need for ure ps2 check ure ps2 first and remember u do need a dvd burner to burn dvd games sorry but alot of people ask that
