I'm new to burning. So please help me out on this one and tell me which is better to buy a DVD+R/WR or DVD-R/WR rom?

And what is better to burn on a DVD-r, DVD+R or DVD-/+WR desk?

HELP!!!

All your input and help well be appreciated.

Thanks

As far as GOOD DVD writers ... My BenQ DW1640 is an excellent writer that also will booktype DVD+R and +RW discs as well as DVD+R DL ..Pioneer drives will not Booktype +R/RW discs without hacked firmware

Oh lets see.....the Optorite handles double layer, DVD+R,DVD-R,DVD+RW<DVD-RW,all in Incremental write, and CD-R/RW,does ISO multisession , and it was a one day sale at newegg for 49,00 + shipping the NEC is the same numbers, but it was a one day sale also at newegg for 35.99 + shipping.........And they do their job, no complaints.....
