I am trying to copy Band of Brothers. Every disk gives the following error: Failed to read drive E: Parameter incorrect. What is this about and how do I go about copying Band of Brothers?

mgentile ,
Welcome to the forum,
Did you rip the disk to HD first. Use DVDDecrypter to rip it to HD ( whole disk all of the files ) and then use Shrink. Or use AnyDVD in conjunction w/ Shrink to do the movie. Both programs can be found at the top of the page under Software and then look for rippers

I have tried to burn to tyhe hd with DVD Decrypter. I get part way through and then I get an I/O error. It says: I/O error. Device: SCSI Status 0*02. Interpretation check status. CDB: INterpretation: Read(10)Sector 3680362. Sense Area: Interpretation: Logical block out of address range. Is this related to the interface in tools/IO/interface? I have SPTI-Microsoft checked. Should it be something else? I have also tried with AnyDVD & shrink. I still get the parameter incorrect error.

mgentile,
You have either a bad press or scratches are preventing you from copying the movie. Try cleaning the disk real well and then try re-ripping it. If it does it again then return it for another one

I don't mean to sound stupid, but what is the best way to clean a dvd? I have never cleaned one before. Thanks.

mgentile,
I just use a mild soap and water solution. Then you wipe from the center ring straight up to the outer edge. Do not go in a circular Motion.
