i'm about to buy swap magic
but i need to know few things first.

what is a purpose of flip-top?
does swap magic play ps2 backups and import backups?
does swap magic play snes-station, pgen, imbnes?
will it read burned copy of hdloader?

let you swap disk without pressing the eject button

does swap magic play ps2 backups and import backups?

yes

does swap magic play snes-station, pgen, imbnes?

you will need a cd that have an emulator to be able to play any SNES,sega... games

will it read burned copy of hdloader?

not sure since i never tried it... but i will say it will
