Hey I am the ultimate modder. I have been modding for about 5 months now and i wiould like to help other people get started modding. Ok i just want to say do not try to modd if, u dont have lots of time to do it, afraid of an xbox crash, afraid of virus that can harm your computer, and fusteration.lol. If you want to know a full and easy tutorial on how to do this respond back on this thread so i know somone wants to know and i dont do all that typing for nothing. Also if you follow my turorial and get startd we could modd together sometime. But somone ahs to respond back on this thread to do it.

I'll give it a shot. My xbox is already modded, i had a friend do it for me. But i would like to know how to do this stuff on my own but dont know where to begin. I dont know anything about it, any info would help.

Ok i would help you. On the internet there is a lot tutorials on how to mod but if ur like me i have no idea what that stuff really means. Ok lets get started. First get action replay at your local video game store. Then buy meccasult. Not splinter cell mechasult is a lot easier. Well anyway go to www.codejunkies.com and go to saves. The click M for mechasult. Then scroll down and click on mechasult. Lots of downloads should come up. Just click on two. Run Linux and Install Linux. Once downloaded to your action replay move it to the memory card. Then insert it into you xbox controler. The go to memory on the xbox dashboard and you should see the two saves. Hit copy and copy them both to your hardrive on the xbox. Then put in mechasult. Load it and when it asks if you want to run linux say yes. AFter that is down load the back up. This is for if anything goes wrong your xbox is fine. Then choose which UDE to install. Then click on the PBL-Metoo. AFter that choose which bios to install. uose Evox M8 for version 1.6 xboxes and use x2 4981 for 1.0 thru 1.5 xboxes. Finally choose Evolution x or MXM for the dashboard. I picked EvolutionX it is easier. Wait for that to finish installing. When it is down it will tell you to turn of your xbox and do so. Then your xbox is modded. Oh yeah. My xbox gamer tag is Q D0G. Have fun.

Ok i went to the website to download the installs but there isnt a "install linux" but there are two "run linux" programs. Are they both the same or are those the two i need?

the install linux is hidden under the other run linux program it is fine download them both.

also do you know where you get the trainers? Im guessing that you would just load the from the action replay disc to you hard drive via the memmory card.

can one of u just answer me pleas or send me a friend reqwest at punk196 i need help ive got every thing andI have no idea what to do once i get to the mod menu oh and im useing splinter cell I think I down loaded the linux on the wrong web site or something because insted of geting evox menu i get unleashedx menu so plz just help me dont ignor me

Sorry punk163 but the modding screwed up my xbox.If you want to know excately how it messes up your xbox here it goes. It changes yur IPA adress . That is the thing that talks to other things. So you need that for xbox live. It is built into the xbox but when you copy the mod the the hardrive it changes adress. So you cannot system link or go on live. Also i managed to change myn back so i can now go on live but it is really hard. You have to call the xbox makeing company and ask them how. Do not mod. You will get banned also it screwes up your xbox so you can not get on live period.
