I'm thinking of getting this camcorder. I've read reviews on it but wanted to get all of you opinion. I just had my first child and plan to use it primarily to take video of him. I like the idea of SD vs miniDV because it seems like it'd be easier to get on to my computer and make DVDs from (I don't plan to do a whole lot of editing) - unless someone could convince me otherwise.

In any case, any input would be appreciated.

Since it is the world's smallest 3-ccd camcorder, it is unique. I have this camera and love it. The place to get user information and sample videos and stills from the camera is the SDR-S100 & SV-AV100 Forum: http://www.zyvid.com/smf
